And 1 screws younger guys over
ive been watching some guys in my school league play. theyve been watching some and 1 and also some of the exciting NBA teams. They miss a lot of open layups cuz they try to scoop it under, they miss easy baskets cuz they turn a normal pass into an alley-oop, and they make turnovers cuz they try some behind the back passing. This is a message to all the younger players. Leave and 1 to and 1, you play with fundementals. I dont want anyone else benched cuz they tried something crazy.

That's right... if you're not skilled, don't play like you are.

Re: And 1 screws younger guys over
yea guys people should practice before trying something in a real game. however, i dont think that you should use and 1 moves in a real game. I know some of you guys are saying how some of the college players/pros use "and 1" in games, but they actually dont. behind the back moves/passes should actually be a FUNDEMENTAL. Coaches dont teach it cuz kids showboat with it. Really, its just like a crossover, but more tricky. anyways, i wanna hear more opinions about this. do you guys really think that people should use STREETBALL in a regular game?

Re: And 1 screws younger guys over
What do you mean by, regular? Do you mean in college against another school? There are street moves that are actually not illegal, but they're still street.

Re: And 1 screws younger guys over
ya by regular i mean like in a game against schools. and ya, at the start of streetball, EVERY move was legal (go get some footage of the OG globetrotters). And actually, street moves work in real games in situations. im just askin do you think that street moves should mix with the fundementals in a basketball game? In streetball, people usually use only street (not all the time, but usually), so why not usually use mainly only fundo's in fundo games? thats my question, you guys come up with answers.
