i'll say this..
a good baller is good anywhere and still follows rules. skip to lou my didnt double
dribble and a lot of great streetballers dont. to be great you can do the moves
without breaking the rules..thats where the skill comes in.

i see these new guys carrying the ball (to the point its ungaurdable and thats just ridiculous) and double dribbling.thats all fun and
whatever but its not basketall, its something new. if you can play both games
in one, then you're really onto something. it can be done, too.

You guys can't possibly be serious. Look at real legends and kick those AND1 tricks to the curb. The BEST ballers to ever play never had to use any tricks in order to embarass people--they just played good ball. As for rules in streetball--yeah there's rules--play hard or go home. Come at me with those weak tricks and I'm going to do one thing--put some body on you and make scoring an absolute living hell. You guys forget that the game is about scoring--not about throwing the ball off of someones head, or between their legs, or kicking it (and the list could go on). Read the comment I made under "Hot Sauce's Return: A Message to Fans" on the Hoopsvibe.com basketball forum and maybe then, you'll see why those tricks are dumb and why you should focus on just becoming a better baller.

i don't think any real serious streetball game is gonna have all those tricks
and fancy moves. but on occassion you have to pull out something special
to give you the edge. i think you're missing the entire point, you had guys like
pistol pete, magic johnson, jason williams, michael jordan,etc..
do they streetball it everytime? no, of course not- just once in a while.

you need to relax, everyone knows good solid basketball comes before flashy.
go watch glory road or something.

no... streetball, w/ all the flashy shit still has fundementals. i love to dribble, break ankles, dance on the court and make the croud go crazy, but thats just the extra. if i, or any other (flashy) streetball player play 1vs1 w/ anybody, we just as good. all the flash is just 4 the croud. dont let the tricks fool ya. i can spank tons of ballers w/ out the flash, but whats the fun in that?

Streetball is the most entertaing sport to watch and the most fun to play. So if you cant play good streetball than its not fun so if its not fun that you probably do like to watch it, or you do watch it and still cant pull moves. So if you hate stick to things your good at. But 4 real you have to be real athletic to be a good streetballer. So you haters can hate. While us streetballers put it down. So keep wishing and stick to organized ball. And 1 much props. Before any of us streetballers became good at streetball we played organized fundamental ball. So dont say we can only play streetball.
