mmhmm. well from the inside they are. I'm ALWAYS hitting the inside of the rim and it bounces out.

practically! Like I said already, if it hits the inside of the rim it's coming out. (well maybe it's like that with single rims too, I don't know because I've only played in double rim courts)
So yeah basically you have to shoot it perfect so that the ball doesn't touch any part of the rim. Just a perfect shot right through the middle. And what sucks about doing that is that none of the courts where I go play have nets. So whenever I make it in perfectly I have to go running after the ball. Because it just goes through the rim then keeps bouncing. It's not like with a net where the net kind of helps it drop straight down to the floor.
But even when I miss I still have to go after it because it bounces off the rim all crazy.
