Default slowed down

Have any of u guys experienced this when you got the ball..

I have been playing for almost 2 years now, and in the middle of this time I was really fast, no one could follow my steps or the ball, but now ive just slowed down heaps I don't know why, like maybe it is the basketball I use time to time that puts me off, when I go for a crossover as it reaches to the other hand it somewhat slides off my wrist, and I bounce it like a retard with my wrist.

Maybe it is because the people I am playing have just gotten better, I don't know :\ but now it just seems like the more I play the worse I am getting at my dribbling, I can't even look up 100% now I still have my eyes to the floor trying to watch the ball it either hits my arm or my leg.

I have tried for awhile now to break the problem but just won't work

Yes... you've probably gotten too predictable. Try mixing things up a bit.
