we had a game to day wer we were winnin by 20+, 2 mins to go and sum guy from the other team gets mad and pushes my teammate, then another teammate pushes the same mad guy back,and the match ended like that. a few mins later the guy who got mad brings a few of his homies (like 6) and my teammate who stood up for the guy on our team who got shoved gets pushed on the wall, luckily my coach and his friend were there and they knew the guys that were about to beat up my teammate and they stopped it,the bad part; my teammate stayed with the coach (which is good) but...those 6,7 guys were waitin just outside, i had to go...and i doubt it's gonna escalate much......but i gotta ask, any of u got any beef with sumone from a bball match?

Almost exact same thing happened to me. Thought at the moment we were winning by 10 and there was like 30 secs left. My teammate (pg) got shoved on the ground. He stood up and shoved him and then the guy from the other team gave him a sucker punch and outta nowhere another player came and it almos turned into a brawl. The kid got suspended for 2 games

I haven't had anything too bad. I was guarding this guy once and I knocked the ball out of his hands and hit the outlet. He felt like he got fouled so he shoved me. I didn't do anything about it because it wasn't a big deal. After the game he tried to start something when I was untieing my shoes, but his coach came over and pretty much gave that guy a verbal ass whooping.

yea except it gets worse, wen it escalates to the point wer the other person brings his homeboys.

/\i hate when people do that shit. i understand why they do it but at the same time, why cant men jus fight like men? its jus a game and if u got a problem then dont bring other people into it

yea......but alot of the time the other people just come, like they find out sumone touched their brother,friend,cousin etc. and then they wanna start sum beef.

Yeah there's always people out there thats gna hate on u but you've just gotta rise above it.

If it's a comp game then make sure you do it afterwards, don't EVER cause shit in the game cuz you'll more than likely get suspended for fighting an thats just fucked.

If your playin street then it's different if you got a guy shitting all over you don't act like a church mouse your best saying something cuz as soon as he knows your scared he/she is gna shit all over you.

Lastly, i know it's pretty difficult but try not to hit the guy, if they hit you fine but NEVER throw the first punch. Try having the self control to do that n play ball hard then more often than not you get the respect due to you.

beefin' over bball matches is pretty common. just look at other sports. it's the fuckin' same everywhere, not only in bball. but bringing yo homies to beat that guy up for ya is lame. it means you ain't got the balls to face that guy by yourself..but if it gets to this, the best thing would be to have some homies of your own, so that you don't get trashed
