showstopper and
ILL-B-Back show you how it's all streetball things looks today. But you know
WhiteWizard streetball it is also hard game like in streetball leagues, for win. There are rules but maybe little more liberal like I said. Then you use only legal moves, which can help you to cross a guard, to score buckets. Play like in
Nike Battlegtound 2003 or 2004 it is streetball too, but little hardest with leading rule
no blood no foul. My man
Monty write an article about
What streetball is? and he describe every kind of streetball game. Unfortunately article is too long and my english not too good so I will not transtale it, but it's explain every aspect of streetball, like freestyle, free games, streetball leagues games, games with no blood no foul rule.
WhiteWizard I never said that streetballers are better players than pros. But i tell you something. In the past in original Rucker league or other summer streetball leagues play many future NBA players like:
Kareem as a Lew Alcindor, Wilt, Julius, Nate Archibald, Wilid Reed, Earl Monroe, Connie Hawkins, Walter Berry, Lloyd Daniels, Charlie Scott, or even
Bill Bradley. They play against pure streetballers, like
Earl "The Goat" Manigault, Pee Wee Kirkland, Fly Williams, Destroyer Hammond, Herman "Helicopter' Knowings, Billy "The Kid" Harris, Jackie "Jumpin" Jackson or later
Hook Mitchell, Ron "The Terminator" Matthias. Many of the was beaten by loco stars. They play hard for win with little mor flashy actions or even few tricks. That was more straight basketball, but Like I said it was old school. Many of those stars was added to the list of
Old School Legends, publish by SLAM Magazine, you can check it here
http://www.speedballing.e-basket.pl/...toria_artykuly
Below you can also find "Legends of the Playground" book, unfortunately not in English:
http://www.acb.com/redaccion.php?id=17056
You can find out that many NBA stars was also playground stars.
After all these years streetball EVOLVE to today's form. And if you think taht tricks are invention of new millennium you're wrong. Many of this tricks was created by
Harlem Globetrotters ballers more than 40 years ago If you wanna check it, I recommend you document movie
Harlem Globetrotters: Six Decedes Of Magic. Then you'll see.
And if you wanna proves for streetballplayas with some college experience ok: Skip - Fresno, Prime Objective - Georgetown, Tru Baller - South Alabama, Smush Parker - Fordham, Myree "Remix" Bowden (YPA) - University of the Pacific, Mike "Silky Smooth" Campbell - Long Island, Cardell "Ballahollic" Butler - Utah State, Antwan "Antifreeze" Dobie - Long Island, Shammgod - Providence. Many of them you don't even know but they still play in some streetball leagues in the summer and after the summer like many other basketball playas in some semi or pro leagues.
Another thing like I said streetball is also one of the steps in basketball carrier. Many today's NBA players was played or even started in streetball leagues, for example:
Stephon "Handler" Marbury, Ron "Tru Warrior" Artest, Sebastian "2 Fast 2 Furious" Telfair, Jamaal "Mel Mel The Abuser"Tinsley, Allen "The Answer" Iverson . More for example here
http://www.ebcsports.com/archive.html
and thats olny list from EBC, not mention other leagues.
Ok. That's all. So WhiteWizard I'm waitin for another weak arguments from your side

You know I got this felling

that some of playground playas hurt you so much. That's the reson of your hate to streetball. but your opinions are your opinions and I respect it. But you know in my country we use to say that
only cows doesn't change their minds. No offence. That's just a adage. Peace
