1st know your position & where you are supposed to be at all times...w/out know that u can't win in any type of game. Oragnized is easier than street b/c u knwo exactly who your playing against ie. high schoolers, D1,2,3 college whatever i structured for your talent group, the street isn't so u have to be more aggressive. But if you can't run plays u can't play it's that simple & it sounds to me like your struggling w/ the basics of the game like movement, footwork & positioning. Here's what u do:
Identify your position G,F,C & watch everyone who plays it & see how they play where they rotate to yada yada.
I get tired of guys who say they good in street but not organized it makes u sound lame, & they r b/c they are the ones that just run up & down injuring folks & u'll find that better players wouldn't want to play w/ u no matter how much U think your doing well.

So your pretty much saying that i dont have game cuz i had trouble trying to get a feel for organised comp?
I'm not trying to start beef here bully but listen to what i have to say without blowing up please.

I'll agree with you that organised ball and street are similar but they are from two different worlds, for example the D in an organised comp in my country is all zone and never man, when you play street it's all man and much more physical meaning you can't hide behind the ref on some bs call.

Everybody pretty much knows their role in any game but what happens when you got a Centre that can play like a guard in street? they obviously gna be checkin the ball at the top of the arc instead of your 1G ye? Given that what is your 1G gna do now? he just lost his 'role'.every game of street is different champ, the emphasis of street is 1.individualism, teamwork on the other hand gets the backburner. Unless of course your playing 1on1.

Its not and never will be, i know plenty of players in open divisions who play in B & C grades cuz A grade timetables are out of their schedule.
Street on the other hand can be a double edged sword, you have the choice of playing whoever you want so if your not as good as others you can run another pickup game whereas with comp you can't. Though it CAN be a bitch and i agree with you there, the onus though is to the person themselves, e.g do they wanna keep playing?

I've never had to run a play in street, ask StrdR,Spyda and anyone else that's played with me on these boards. Iwin, lose sometimes cuz hey your only human and you get that. I hurt i bleed. Can you give me an example also where somebody would run a play called 'PF Double Down Low?' refer to my previous paragraph ^^ about individualism.
So don't say 'hey your having difficulty with your game because of your fundamental skills' cuz brother i posted my 15secs of fame up and didn't get trashed.
But please post your clips you sound more than confident about what your saying. I'd like to be disproved.
