Default Starting Lineup.

Hi guys...i want to ask you something...

here is the thing
my teams best player went away and now we are only 7 players on our roster.
i was on the bench for 2 years,in first year i scored 3.2 points per game and blocked 5.1 shots. in second year i scored 12 points and blocked 5 again. but the leader who went away scored 27 points and grabbed 7 rebs both seasons...now when he is gone , this season which starts in november, i will play in starting lineup...dont know if ill be able to put on numbers like him
is that easier than sitting on the front of the bench?
is it fun?
is that a best way to get recognized as a bballer?
will i be able to score points and block shots like i was used to or it will be easier or harder?plz describe everything from your first apperance on starting lineup!

it isnt easier becuase you need to be on form from the start
yea its fun.. its basketball so course its fun
the best way to get recognized is to play well as part of a team
and if you train enough then you should be able to put up better numbers than you do now. everybody on the team will have to step up now that your star player has left

i find it better being a starter - more confidence

only u can answer to how well you will perform when you play and what ur stats will show. how hard are you willing to work beforehand, in all aspects i.e. mental, skills, fitness e.t.c

then when you know your shot is automatic, ur faster than ur defender e.t.c, the only thing left is mental fortitude, and your game shud b HIiiiiiigh

but there is a problem...everyone wants me to become the leader, the one to step up.. im scared because of the pressure..i havent played in start up since my first year...then it was like a brick because i failed, but now i have progressed and everyone thinks i could step up and make the impact as much as our team leader did!!!

Well you must be confident in yourself.
Even if you aren't, you shouldn't let it show since you said that people are looking up to you now for leadership.
