LOL what kind of question is this? I mean if you are a streetballer you are a basketballer and beside streetball was derived from basketball, no basketball=no streetball...

Aight I understand this is a streetball forum but I need to make this point, streetball has kinda messed up kids this day in the way they are playing..Everytime they want to learn the trickz but not the basics, I was like telling them you gotta have the fukin fundamental first then you can talk about doing trickz..for example there was this kid he thought he was a hot shot at our skool cos hes doing all these street moves and when I played against him he was nuthin I beat him 11-3..

Also talking about basketball doenst have D as much as street if you pick any players from NBA to play anyone on the street, the chances are that NBA would have much greater chances of winning..

Ok Im not saying that streetball isnt good cos I myself is a Basket/streetballer, but when people say bball isnt good, isnt tough etc it kinda annoyin I mean its like nuts who forgot its cover you know what Im saying..

ima gonna have to agree wit MF44, streetball isn't just considered tricks but meant primarily because it was for players who played where ever and when ever. Streetball is for peeps that take fouls and pain and all the blood and tears and sweat but at the end of the day they get up, but shit man they still goin hard as hell like no tomorrow becuase they love the game for its raw and grimy play, that is streetball.

Personally ima say that i am a streetballer at the moment cause i play where ever i can find a court to improve my game ( that and i started playing ball on the streets), and sure I like doing tricks as much as the next guy maybe just to dazzle the crowd, but as much as many people say it ruins fundementals, it's also a well equipped way for peeps to gain confidence when handling the ball.Even when im playing strait fundamentals for a team i still have that little street style cause it gives you that edge and advantage when on the court that your defender might not know, im not talking bought globetrotter shit and stuff like that but solid handles and a well deserved cross-over or maybe that quick drive some playas might have and altho i work on my street game i still work on post-up plays and defence stances and my shooting form ect. for my pro game cause that still a huge part of my devolpment as a player. So Ima say streetballa cause it is the shyt and that style i play where ever, when ever.

I play basketball, but i enjoy playing streetball more. I dunno why its just the way i am i find it funner.
