i thought streetball was more the style of play, not if u play in the streets or not (although thats a bonus).

i guess it would be kinda hard to determine what is "streetball" and what is "basketball." in my opinion, ur average pickup game would be "basketball," unless someone started doing moves and showin a lil flash cuz then it would be streetball.

Well, the streets is where that style of play came about, right?

1-the modern day basketball were talkin about was founded in a gym with peach baskets glued onto a blacony or sumthin and the first game was jumpshots no dunks and finding the open teammate and since there was no shotclock it was a lowscoring game
2-in my opinion-streetball in a more flashy game with no travels or double dribbles, huge dunks (sumtimes) and is usually played on the streets but can be played in a gym if u want
3-im more of a basketballer, i play for my school team, dont work on streetball moves that much, i usually work on moves i can use in "real" games
4-yea benji streetball started on the streets and thats why its called streetball

Street ball easy. itsmore fun to watch cause they do more tricks and better dunks than the NBA. Streetball is much harder to you have to be strong mentally and physically to play cause there are no rules on the street

Streetball = me right now...prolly coz i've had bad experiences with actually playing basketball on the hardwood for starters..the management for my team lost my record or sum shyt so i cudnt play..

and in the meantime ive been busting so bad to play..now ive just resorted to versing randoms on teh blacktop..so thats prolly why im streetball right now.

and because of my inexperiences in real games..playing actual basketball is hard for me..but im starting next term to fkn play for a team

streetball all day every day, just like most of yall i do both and do them well but in streetball you aint got to worry about the game play being stoped because of some soft ass call! or having to give the ball up when you drive in the lane and somebody steped in and took a lil weak flop
basicly you just got more freedom to play your game on the street..
