anyway that is besides the point. i wouldn't go out there with the intent to challenge him or call him out. like you said in the thread title he is a teamate. causing conflict in a team is never going to help and never going to make you anymore popular with them. Just ignore what he has to say and dont let it affect you. There will always be people that think they can do it better and chances are there will always be people that can do it better. Just focus on what you think and what your coach thinks. the only player if any that should really be critical is your captain and if he is good he will do it in an inspiring way not one to put you down.
dont let it get on top of you, once this guy realises you care very little what he thinks of your game and just start focussing on how to make yourself better you will become much better for it and problem solved.

I think I kinda made a mistake when I was typing the other reply the player that my man was guarding reacts to defensive jabs I never left my man my teamate thought that I was going to double team him.
