I'll make it easy for you. Drop the volume according to your current level by all means. But prolong your program's initial phase as you get up to speed to doing all the reps. CONSISTENCY and PROGRESSION are two very important things to aim for. So, maybe if you drop to 2x15 and exercise 3 times a week, add a rep to each set per workout to get to 2x20 by the end of week 2, then repeat week 1 all reps for another week. This is one thing you can try for. There are instances when this doesn't work and where it makes an intense training block too long (where there is say planned overreaching), but I think this does not apply to you.
