Default Re: How Many Inches Do YOU Need To Dunk

i just measured my reach. are you supposed to measure your reach for one hand up or both hands? theres a slight difference. anyways with one hand my reach is 98/99 inches (without shoes...lets say 99 with shoes). with two hands its around 96/97.

so that means, if u need 127 inches to dunk cleanly, i need a RJV of 28 inches.

problem is i don't know what my RVJ is cos i got nowhere to measure it. i'll try and find out and then if it is 28 inches then your formula is correct as i am right on the limit of dunk (i can dunk about 50% of the time). if it turns out my RVJ is higher, which i think it is, then we can change your formula to like 129 inches instead of 127 for total height required. although i guess its different for every person, depending on how they hold the ball and stuff. i can't palm it so maybe i need a bit higher.

i just saw someone mentioned if u can't palm it, it does add difficulty. so yeah thats probably the biggest reason i can't dunk 100% of the time...i often just lose the ball on the way up. i'm a freak i have these fucking small hands that can't palm yet i am 6'4 dammit lol.
