The more post you have, the more active you are, the more respect you get. Logic enough for you now? And i doubt someone will try to post 1000 posts just for the fun of it. If you post that much it means that you actually care about the site. And for gunhill, when you said you only care about the threads and not the posts,, you should know that in threads, there is posts made by members. So if you care about the threeads, it means that you do care about what people commented.
