Default Re: Standing versus Running Verts

usually a well trained athlete in both strength and RFD has about 5-6" difference... those who show higher numbers are often weak when it comes to leg strength. you don't see too many high flyers that are in the 40s or high 30s that don't have at least a 30" standing... take me for instance... started w/ weights (i only lifted upper body my earlier years really, except 1 summer doin 1/4 squats lol) w/ my legs and i am testing my max squat and dlift in a week (hoping to hit 285# squat-parallel and 335# dlift - mind you, i never trained them really)... before i lifted i had a 23" standing and 32" running... its been 12 weeks and its lookin like a 29" standing... (hoping for 30") and 35"+ running... but remind you i haven't done any RFD training in three years. that's my next phase... when i hit my 40" again i'll post a vid.. until then if want to see any of my training u'll have to come to my site.
