A couple of supplements that will help with soft tissue injuries are Wobenzym (sp?) and bromelain. I dealt with tendinitis in my left knee at the end of my career, and these compounds seemed to reduce the inflamation and discomfort. Wobenzym is a brand name, and bromelain can be purchased as a supp, but also is found in whole foods such as pineapples. As previously stated by others, you can't go wrong with ice and rest also.
