Re: why not to buy fake
And you can get out of here if you don't like it. From what I know you haven't contributed shit to this place.
Actually, Dragonkicks does speak for alot of local Chinese here down here in Shanghai. It's like, a peer pressure problem. Their peers have branded shoes, they want branded shoes. They can't afford branded shoes, so they have to get fakes. Lots of situations like that all over Shanghai. Can't blame them really, because not many people are that well off especially where I live which is basically countryside.
Speaking of fakes, I had some before. Once was I had no idea it was fake. Some other time I had gotten one because my friend's uncle owned a shop that sold fakes(it's a Chinese respect thing). They look okay when you first get them, but it looks worse and worse after awhile. I mean, it's like, they look more fake to you after you have them for an extended period of time. And the cushioning is pretty bad too.
There is quality in fakes here though. I mean, some are really fake, like T-Macs with different colors that didn't even come out. And some actually looks almost exactly the same just with bad cushioning inside.
