Besides, i know a dozen sites for pirated materials...and look at torents. (i am willing to be that 99.9% of stuffs up there is copyrighted materials. Listening to music which has been ripped from CDs are pirating, but you dont see huge contraversies over that. I am just so freaking pissed off at this site and so many other sites i know that says:

"No posting copyrighted materials"

And then i go to sites that i see this:

"Please, only direct downloads and provide descriptions of the software/movie/games/ebooks/music you have provided"

I am just saying why is this site so scared of having people post copyrighted materials? If it was such a big deal then Torrents, Limewire, UseNeXt, Rapidshare, Warez should all be banned. Its just so unfare that Kelly Baggett and other companies go after this website because they cant take down sites like Rapidsahre and Torrents.

I can understand teh frustration of seeing your work stolen but...if it is such a big issue over copyrighted materials, it goes back to my original question.

WHY ISNT TORRENTS, WAREZ, AND ANY OTHER DOWNLOADING PROGRAMS BANNED? I can 101% guarantee that any upload site has at least 80% copyrighted materials on it.

Plus, most of us knows at least 1 place where we can get free stuffs. So mods and admin for this site, losen up...

If you can't, answer the following questions for me and i will be satisfied.

1.WHY ISNT TORRENTS, WAREZ, AND ANY OTHER DOWNLOADING PROGRAMS BANNED over the issue of copyrighted materials. Why didnt the gov just shut it all down? due to the massive amoutn of illegal stuffs on it?

2. Why are there forums dedicated to pirated stuffs and did not EVER get caught? Why was this site caught by Kelly Baggett when i seen his VJB on many forums? Is it coincident? How is it possible for this site to get caught? I mean look at name, its Streetball talk!

3. What is it that you mods and admins are really afraid of? Having lawsuits fired agains you? In that case those torrent and warez site admins must be having heart attacks.

By your definition of copyrighted materials, its anythign that has been duplicated and copied without the discretion of the publisher. In that case, ripping music from a CD is illegal too...
