Default AA2 = bad?

all this talk about air alert2 and i still dont know if its 'good' or 'bad'....ive tried it when i was a sophomore but stopped after the 3rd week because i was borrowing it from someone and never copied the schedule....it seemed to help but then i noticed after a few weeks off the program, everytime i jumped my lower back would hurt....it hurt so much that i completely lost my vert.....it was a sort of 'stinging' pain....also when i was walking down stairs my knees seemed extremely week and would wobble...

im a senior now and i was wondering if i should start AA2 again (from the beginning).....ive also read around that AA messes up ur knees....and from some other website, it said programs that make you jump so many times a day messes up ur lower back

so im not sure what to do....continue with AA or find an alternative....i also have VJB (Vertical Jump Bible) but i dont really understand how i should be following the book (cant figure out the routines)

tips, advice, and experiences appreciated...thanks
